Job Description
Job Title
- Japanese Content Manager – Short-form Drama (Vigloo Japan)
- 1-Year Contract (New Market Launch / Japan)
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage short-form drama content for the Japanese market
- Discover and collaborate with local production companies
- Oversee the full production process—from planning to post-production—offering creative and operational feedback
- Finalize production contracts and negotiate terms
- Review subtitles and video quality for publishing
- Analyze viewer trends, user feedback, and market preferences
- Monitor global content trends and competitor activities
Requirements
- Native-level Japanese or Korean (with business fluency in the other)
- 3+ years of experience in content production or media industry
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, global working environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in video production, OTT, or short-form drama platforms
- Deep interest in and familiarity with Japanese short-form drama content
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
