JD(Job Description)
1) Job Title
- Native English Editor (Experienced)
2) Department
- Quality Control Department
3) Key Responsibilities
- Proofreading Korean-to-English translations
- Evaluating English translation samples
- Managing overall translation quality, with a focus on consistency and accuracy
- Assessing English translators and their work
- Providing feedback and writing quality/style guidelines based on evaluations
- Supporting the Translation (PM) and Sales/Marketing teams on projects
4) Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year) from an accredited university in Korea or overseas
- Native English speaker with at least 3 years of experience in translation and/or editing
- Preferred - Proficiency in Korean
5) Employment Conditions
- Type: Full-time (3-month probationary period)
- Conversion to regular employment subject to performance during the probation period
- Location: 10F, 6 Jongno, Jongno-gu, Seoul
- Within 300m of Gwanghwamun Station (Line 5)
- Working hours: 09:00–18:00 or 10:00–19:00
- Salary: Negotiable based on experience and interview
