With a ​mission ​to “Make Every ​Moment Enjoyable,” ​we are now actively expanding into the Japanese market—a top-tier Asian market with unlimited growth potential. We're looking for a passionate and experienced Japanese Content Manager to lead localization and content production efforts.


Job Description

Job Title

  • Japanese Content Manager – Short-form Drama (Vigloo Japan)
  • 1-Year Contract (New Market Launch / Japan)


Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage short-form drama content for the Japanese market
  • Discover and collaborate with local production companies
  • Oversee the full production process—from planning to post-production—offering creative and operational feedback
  • Finalize production contracts and negotiate terms
  • Review subtitles and video quality for publishing
  • Analyze viewer trends, user feedback, and market preferences
  • Monitor global content trends and competitor activities


Requirements

  • Native-level Japanese or Korean (with business fluency in the other)
  • 3+ years of experience in content production or media industry
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, global working environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in video production, OTT, or short-form drama platforms
  • Deep interest in and familiarity with Japanese short-form drama content
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
