Q. Who are the foreign talent candidates you can hire?

A. The Seoul Metropolitan Government is recruiting qualified global talent with experience in AI, software, robotics, fintech, gaming, entertainment, creative

industries, and other tech or innovative sectors.

Q. What are the conditions for employment, and what is the application process?

A.  After companies interested in participating submit their recruitment requirements (e.g. job description, required certifications) to the designated contact person,

they will receive support throughout the entire process via the recruitment platform, from recruiting global talent and company recommendations to interviews and

the hiring process.

Q. Is there a fee for posting a job advertisement?

A. All job postings and talent recommendations conducted through this program are free of charge. Companies can hire overseas talent with the support of the Seoul Metropolitan Government without any additional advertising or brokerage fees. 

Q. Is legal and administrative support also provided when hiring overseas tiring?

A. The Seoul Metropolitan Government provides support for legal and administrative procedures, including visa consulting, issuing the employment recommendation

letters and more. If needed, additional counseling services are offered in collaboration with foreign support agencies (e.g. Seoul Global Center, KOTRA). Customized

guidance for entry and stay, compliance with labor regulations and the like is also included. 

Q. What kind of support is provided to companies?

A. This program provides comprehensive support tailored to each company's hiring needs, including recommending overseas talent, promoting job postings, supporting visas and entry procedures, opportunities for online and offline job fairs, and post-settlement consulting. This program will assist with brand promotion and help to improve hiring success rates through events like the Seoul Online Job Fair hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. 

Q. Does the support continue even after employment?

A. Even after hiring, the program will provide support for settlement in Seoul through daily life counseling, Korean language education, the Korea Immigration & Integration program (KIIP) and such. Additionally, financial support can be offered for administrative procedures necessary for long-term stay and settlement (e.g. visa renewal and Registration Card (ARC) issuance). 

Q. How are job candidates matched with companies?

A. Based on the recruitment requirements submitted by companies and the career background of overseas talent, the platform operator and professional consultants conduct customized 1:1 matching. If needed, the talent pool can be expanded, and additional recommendations can be provided through collaboration with embassies in Korea, overseas Korean associations, and global platforms.

A. This program is not limited to a specific industry, but is available across a wide range of industries. In particular, there is a strong demand in innovative industries

such as information and communication, AI, software, robotics, fintech, gaming, entertainment, and the createive industries.

Q. Are there any special conditions for applying?

A. The applicant must apply for a job position eligible for an E-7 visa and must possess a degree or certification relevant to the position. Specific requirements may vary by company and position, so please refer to the job posting for details. 

Q. Is there any support for foreign job seekers?

A. Yes, the Seoul Metropolitan Government offers various support services for global talent, including visa issuance assistance, settlement counseling, and Korean

language education programs. Administrative support needed during the hiring process is also provided.

A. The job positions are primarily located in Seoul. The exact location will be listed in the job description.

Q. Can I apply even if I can't speak Korean?

A. While it is possible to apply, Korean skills may be required depending on the company and position. The Korean skills requirement will be listed in the job

description. Certain positions may specify they are for English speakers or another language, and may not require Korean skills.
